NITC has subscribed to a plagiarism checking service -
Faculty / Staff/ Research Scholars, please follow the procedure detailed below for getting a document checked by turnitin.
1) Create the document in one of the turnitin acceptable formats - most of the common formats like pdf, doc, docx, txt are all supported.
2) Ensure that the document is named with your nitc email login id. It should not be password protected. For example, if you want to check a pdf file and your nitc mail id is email@example.com, the file must be named as
3) Send this file from your nitc mail id to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject check. Please note that requests from non-nitc mail ids will not be entertained.
4) We will try to send you the originality report from turnitin within two working days.
You may contact
the LAC member from your department if you need to get multiple documents checked.
All UG and PG students are directed to contact the concerned LAC member, if they require turnitin services.
Any issues related to this service may also be communicated to the concerned LAC member.
